Junior Data Analyst

About the role

Platinum Technologies is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to support data enablement for federal customer programs. You will create intuitive visualizations, build secure ETL pipelines, and configure BI solutions for agency stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Google Looker Studio, and Tableau.
• Build and manage efficient, secure ETL processes to prepare data for analysis.
• Create and maintain scalable data models supporting reusable visualizations.
• Apply analytical expression languages such as DAX, calculated fields, and LOD expressions to build complex metrics.
• Implement row‑level security and data sensitivity configurations to meet federal governance standards.
• Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to acquire, integrate, and document data from agency systems.
• Develop end‑to‑end data preparation workflows, data dictionaries, and technical documentation.
• Deploy and configure BI solutions for federal stakeholders, ensuring usability and performance.
• Present findings and dashboard outputs clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated with demonstrated learning agility.
• Ability to obtain or hold an Active Public Trust clearance.
• Interest in turning complex data into actionable insight within a federal environment.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting in Washington D.C.
