Junior Android Developer – Remote

About the role

Rare Candy is looking for a Junior Android Developer to help shape the mobile experience for trading‑card collectors. You will work closely with the CTO and the engineering team to ship features for our Android app, using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve Android features for the collector‑facing product.
• Integrate with GraphQL APIs and collaborate with backend engineers on client‑server contracts.
• Fix bugs, polish UI, and raise the overall quality of the Android app.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering to turn ideas into shipped experiences.
• Communicate clearly, ask good questions, and handle blockers efficiently.

Required profile

• Early‑career developer comfortable with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs.
• Motivated to learn quickly and grow within a fast‑moving startup.
• Ability to ship features independently with guidance from senior engineers.
