Junior All Source Analyst

About the role

Amentum supports the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) J2 Directorate by conducting all-source intelligence analysis and producing intelligence products that inform the decisions of senior leaders, including the CENTCOM Commander. The work schedule is 0800-1600, and the analyst may also support the Joint Intelligence Center, which includes occasional 24/7 shift work for situational awareness and warning.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct all-source intelligence analysis and produce intelligence products for global missions and customers.
• Apply ODNI analytic tradecraft standards, research using databases and toolsets, compile and analyze complex data, and develop assessments.
• Support the Joint Intelligence Center, including 24/7 shifts where needed.
• Analyze USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility and Areas of Interest, and recommend actions to produce, disseminate and apply intelligence products.
• Cover subjects such as current and term analysis, daily production, graphics, write-for-release, political/military, terrorism, cyberspace, human terrain, geospatial intelligence, WMD, energy/environment, ballistic missiles, compromise mitigation, open-source, order of battle, target intelligence, materials analysis, network discovery and safety, quality and procedure compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or specialized training with 2-3 years of intelligence analysis experience or 3-4 years of military intelligence experience and recent equivalent academic experience.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Drug-free workplace; employment is contingent on passing a drug screening, which may include pre-hire screening for marijuana and other federally controlled substances.
