About the role
Spark Power is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Fresno, California area. The role requires independent service calls, troubleshooting, and installation work on a variety of industrial equipment and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Install conduit and wiring, terminate conductors, and install fixtures for industrial applications.
- Troubleshoot circuitry, replace damaged components, and ensure compliance with client specifications.
- Order parts and manage job materials using the company’s computer system.
- Complete work orders, review finished work with customers, and maintain a clean work area.
- Prepare proactively for upcoming tasks and interact with personnel at all company levels.
Required profile
- Preferred valid California Electrician Certification.
- At least 5 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
- Experience with conduit runs (EMT, GRC, PVC coated, stainless steel) and man‑lift operation.
- Strong knowledge of the California Electrical Code and a valid driver’s license with a good record.
- Effective communication, problem‑solving abilities, and professional customer liaison experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel; ability to travel extensively within and outside the state.
