Java Full Stack Developer – Elgin, IL

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to join its Communications, Media, and Technology unit in Elgin, Illinois. You will work on digital transformation projects for telecom and media clients, delivering cloud‑native and AI‑first solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements during elicitation.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions.
• Develop new features and integrate updates while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, maintain repositories, and manage the codebase.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse results and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques and support activities.
