Java Developer – Full Stack (Jersey City, NJ)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Jersey City, NJ. You will work on full‑stack Java applications that support digital transformation initiatives for banking, wealth management and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, capture software specifications and create process documentation.
• Develop, refine and document code for new applications using Java, Spring Boot and micro‑services architecture.
• Execute test plans, analyse results, report defects and support performance enhancements.
• Assist in integrating new features into existing systems and ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, providing prompt issue resolution and maintenance documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies and technical solutions to enrich the team knowledge base.
