Java Developer – Full Stack (Java/SpringBoot) – Jersey City

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Jersey City. The role focuses on building and enhancing full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot and micro‑services, supporting digital transformation for banking, wealth management and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user requirements and document stakeholder needs.
• Participate in design discussions, create process documentation and translate specifications into code.
• Develop, refine and document new software applications following detailed design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, report defects and support performance improvements.
• Assist in integrating new features and ensure smooth transitions within existing systems.
• Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues and produce maintenance documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies and technical solutions for team knowledge sharing.
