Java Calypso Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Java Calypso Developer to design, develop, and enhance Calypso modules across Front Office, Risk, Collateral and Back Office. You will build custom workflows, trade screens, reports and adapters while implementing new financial products using Calypso’s product framework.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Calypso modules (Front Office, Risk, Collateral, Back Office).
• Create custom trade screens, reports, adapters and workflows.
• Implement new financial products using Calypso’s product framework.
• Extend Calypso APIs with Java, SQL and Calypso toolkits.
• Integrate with MQ, Kafka, REST/SOAP APIs and other middleware tools.
• Build and maintain Straight‑Through Processing (STP) pipelines.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.

Required profile

• Strong Java development experience.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database optimization.
• Familiarity with derivatives, fixed income, FX, repo, collateral or securities finance concepts.
• Experience with Calypso APIs, data dictionaries and event/task frameworks.
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle and risk management processes.
