About the role
Infosys is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Phoenix, AZ. You will work on AI‑driven, cloud‑based solutions that transform banking, wealth management, and insurance operations.
Key responsibilities
- Document and refine business requirements as part of the elicitation process.
- Lead design discussions, capture decisions, and guide the technical team.
- Develop, test, and integrate new features while ensuring system stability.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain repositories, and implement test strategies.
- Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
- Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures.
- Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing, and support activities.
Required profile
- Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements gathering to implementation.
