About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join its Engineering unit in Dallas, Texas. You will work on building and enhancing backend services that power product‑centric solutions, leveraging modern technologies and a data‑first approach.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user requirements and document stakeholder needs.
• Participate in design discussions, translate software specifications into detailed design documents.
• Develop, refine, and document backend code using Java and Spring Boot according to design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, report defects, and support performance improvements.
• Integrate new features into existing systems and ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues promptly, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to enrich the team’s knowledge base.
