IT Technician – Technical Support & Systems Maintenance

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide advanced technical support across its IT systems and networks. You will ensure the health and reliability of the company’s infrastructure while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical problems promptly.
• Assist with network configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform routine maintenance such as software updates, security patches, and backups.
• Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud‑based services.
• Mentor Tier 1 technicians and document support tickets in a helpdesk system.
• Collaborate on complex projects, migrations, and system upgrades.
• Enforce security best practices, data protection, and access control.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical support or similar IT experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with non‑technical users.
