IT Support Technician

About the role

Open Fertility is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide proactive and reactive technology assistance to doctors, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff across its growing network of clinics. The role involves hands‑on support of a wide range of hardware and software, on‑call coverage, and occasional travel to other sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day IT support for a staff of 400+ across multiple locations.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, audio/video equipment, and medical‑specific applications.
• Manage Meraki networking equipment, LAN/WAN/VPN/Wi‑Fi infrastructure, and print servers.
• Support and maintain A/V conferencing systems in conference rooms and remote offices.
• Handle ticket creation, tracking, and resolution in accordance with SLA policies.
• Assist with onboarding, system deployment, and user training during IT orientations.
• Oversee asset lifecycle, inventory, procurement, and decommissioning processes.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors and remote IT teams to resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with the ability to prioritize urgent issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior executives, clinicians, and staff.
• Willingness to provide on‑call and weekend remote coverage on a rotational basis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed IT team.

Required skills

• Experience with Meraki networking solutions.
• Proficiency in LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of print server configuration and management.
• Familiarity with A/V conferencing equipment.
• Understanding of cloud‑based technologies and medical device integrations.
