IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our New York City office. You will be the primary on‑site point of contact for all technology needs, supporting the Executive team and the broader staff while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing global e‑commerce business.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure and maintain employee devices (macOS laptops, peripherals) for new hires.
• Serve as the first‑line helpdesk, triage and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Maintain conference rooms and AV equipment, including Google Meet room configuration and executive presentation support.
• Provide training and enablement on macOS, Google Workspace and security best practices.
• Track and manage IT assets, software licences and subscriptions in an accurate inventory.
• Perform basic Wi‑Fi and LAN troubleshooting, escalating complex problems to senior staff.
• Support company events with streaming, AV setup and technical assistance.
• Deliver white‑glove, discreet support to the Executive team.
• Document processes, runbooks and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with macOS and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Admin Console).
• Familiarity with Slack and identity tools such as Okta for basic user provisioning.
• Understanding of Wi‑Fi, LAN and general network connectivity concepts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical colleagues.
• Motivation to learn, grow quickly and provide reliable, courteous support.
