IT Support Specialist – Kyiv (Hybrid)

About the role

Helpware is seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to join its Kyiv office. The hybrid position focuses on day‑to‑day end‑user support, hardware setup and basic infrastructure troubleshooting, ensuring a smooth IT environment for office staff.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and deploy Windows laptops for new hires.
• Provide first‑line technical assistance for hardware and basic software issues.
• Diagnose and resolve problems with peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, headsets and docking stations.
• Perform visual equipment checks, including cable connections and hardware condition.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Starlink internet connectivity.
• Assist with basic server‑related tasks and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain up‑to‑date IT inventory and documentation.
• Coordinate with global IT teams as required.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or help‑desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS installation and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, routers, switches).
• Familiarity with server operations at a fundamental level.
• Hands‑on diagnostic skills in an office setting.
• Clear communication in English (minimum B1.2 level).
