IT Support Engineer

About the role

Clay is scaling rapidly and is building its IT function from the ground up. As an IT Support Engineer you will be the first point of contact for internal requests, ensuring fast, reliable service while helping shape the help‑desk processes alongside the Head of IT.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the face of IT, triaging and resolving requests related to access, software provisioning, onboarding/off‑boarding, hardware support, and general help‑desk needs.
• Own the end‑to‑end onboarding and off‑boarding experience, provisioning accounts, coordinating hardware, and ensuring seamless transitions.
• Partner with the Head of IT to configure and improve the AI‑powered ITSM platform, defining request categories, building intake workflows, and managing queues.
• Maintain a clean, efficient ticket queue and communicate status updates clearly to employees.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping support queues organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine interest in building and refining support processes, not just executing them.

Required skills

• Experience with ITSM platforms (ticketing and workflow automation).
• Hardware troubleshooting and software provisioning.
