IT Support Engineer

About the role

Cohere is seeking an IT Support Engineer to serve as the primary point of contact for technology requests in its New York office. You will provide first‑response assistance to global users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, networking, and video‑conferencing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote support for Mac devices, Google Workspace, Slack, and other collaboration tools.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the office network, Wi‑Fi infrastructure, routers, switches, and AV equipment.
• Manage laptop shipments for the United States region, handling ordering, tracking, and inventory.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including device provisioning and de‑provisioning.
• Document and update standard operating procedures and IT runbooks.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues with tools such as Notion, Google Meet, and room scheduling systems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience supporting Mac environments and Google Workspace.
• Strong knowledge of MDM solutions (e.g., Kandji, JAMF) and identity platforms like Okta.
• Familiarity with API orchestration, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, and authentication protocols (RADIUS).
• Experience with scripting (Python) and Google Apps Manager (GAM).
• Awareness of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance requirements.
