IT Security Analyst – Hybrid, Salt Lake City

About the role

Join a dynamic team protecting critical systems and data. As an IT Security Analyst you will monitor security technologies, respond to incidents, and collaborate across IT, engineering, and cloud teams to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain SIEM, EDR, IPS, firewalls, and other network security tools.
• Support incident response activities including triage, investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Document security events, perform root‑cause analysis, and track vulnerability remediation.
• Assist with breach response and coordinate incident handling.
• Maintain security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with ISO 27001 and other regulations.
• Support audit activities and provide evidence for internal and external auditors.
• Respond to security tickets, alerts, and operational requests promptly.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and cloud teams to ensure proper implementation of security controls.

Required profile

• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong focus on networking, endpoint protection, and security monitoring.
• Experience supporting cloud security initiatives and working with infrastructure teams.
• Excellent communication skills for documenting incidents and assisting other departments.
