IT Invoicing & Procurement Intern (Summer 2027)

About the role

Hy-Vee is hiring an IT Invoicing and Procurement Intern for its IT department during the summer of 2027. The intern supports the IT invoicing and procurement teams, helping ensure that vendor products and services are charged and categorized correctly before being handed off to Accounting for payment, and assists IT leaders with expense management and purchasing goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices for all technology products, ensure timely payment and correct classification, and bill other business units
• Purchase goods or services that meet Hy-Vee's quantity and quality expectations
• Track inventory and late shipments and identify product shortages
• Answer inquiries from internal partners, vendors, construction teams and third-party installers
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent experience; additional training or education from an accredited college or university preferred
• Commitment to the Hy-Vee mission and willingness to promote its values
• Physical ability to lift no more than 20 pounds frequently, stand or walk often, and perform stooping, kneeling and reaching
