IT Governance Analyst

About the role

The IT Governance Analyst administers critical governing controls and documentation, facilitates internal and external audits, and provides governance guidance to affiliates across the North American region. The role is essential to ensuring compliance, operational integrity and adherence to IT governance policies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer governing controls and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation as directed by IT Management.
• Provide governance guidance and support to TAI and its affiliates, helping them implement IT governance policies.
• Understand and administer ITGC and ATSG policies, and facilitate related audits.
• Maintain and update the IT Business Continuity Plan, run disaster recovery testing and audits, and keep IT SOPs current and followed.
• Track IT contracts and expiration dates and notify senior management of upcoming renewals.
• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensure changes are reviewed and approved, and make sure root cause analysis is done when changes fail.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in IT governance, compliance, audit or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting IT governance across multiple business units or regions.
• Experience facilitating internal and external IT audits.
• Knowledge of change management processes and CAB facilitation.
• Preferred: relevant certifications such as CISA, ITIL or CGEIT.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IT control frameworks such as ITGC, SOX, COBIT and ITIL.
• Strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery concepts.
• Excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills.
