IT Coordinator – Americas (Houston)

About the role

Wilhelmsen is looking for an IT Coordinator to join its Global Business Services Tech team in the Houston area. The role will support the local office in Pasadena and act as a liaison for the wider global support network, helping users get the most out of Microsoft 365 and other modern workplace tools.

Key responsibilities

• Identify end‑user training needs for Microsoft 365, develop or source training material and deliver sessions.
• Provide 2nd‑line support to the 1st‑line team, troubleshoot recurring issues and suggest automation.
• Maintain local applications, network infrastructure, servers, and ensure IT governance and security compliance.
• Coordinate with local vendors on contracts, renewals and service delivery.
• Deliver deskside support and monitor user satisfaction scores.
• Log incidents and requests in the global help‑desk system following SLA and GSM guidelines.
• Assist with IT investment budgeting and produce accurate reports.

Required profile

• Highly motivated to improve user knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment where English is the corporate language.
