IT Business Consultant

About the role

HCSC is hiring an IT Business Consultant in Nashville to ensure the quality, accuracy and regulatory compliance of business and technology solutions that support Medicare operations. The consultant partners with business stakeholders, product teams, operations and technology organizations to validate requirements, design test scenarios, run end-to-end testing and make sure solutions meet organizational and CMS requirements. The role acts as a key liaison between business and technology teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, or 7 years' experience, in business analysis, process improvement, strategic planning, research, project management, product administration or product operations, or relevant healthcare experience.
• Experience in business testing, quality assurance, UAT and business process validation.
• Healthcare line-of-business experience, preferably Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid or health insurance.
• Preferred: experience developing test strategies, test cases and running end-to-end testing across Provider, Claims, Membership, Enrollment, Benefits, Fulfillment and Digital platforms.
• Preferred: experience in Agile and Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing and releases.
• Preferred: knowledge of complex claims processing environments, data modeling, database concepts, SQL, and TriZetto platforms such as Facets and EAM.

• Base pay range of $69,800 to $125,900, varying with skills, experience and location.
