iOS Software Engineer – Mobile

About the role

Compass is looking for an iOS Software Engineer to help build a mobile platform that makes buying or selling a home a delightful experience. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality features for our real‑estate marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Swift Concurrency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define feature scope, prioritize work, and ensure alignment with product goals.
• Write clean, maintainable code, perform code reviews, and create automated tests.
• Integrate iOS apps with RESTful backend services and, when needed, reactive programming frameworks.
• Document architecture decisions, service descriptions, and runbooks.

Required profile

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience with apps shipped to the App Store.
• Strong understanding of iOS design patterns, UI/UX principles, and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and communicate effectively with product and design stakeholders.
