iOS Software Engineer – Mobile Applications

About the role

Beacon AI is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to join its mobile team and build high‑impact applications for a flight safety platform. You will work alongside senior engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver real‑time, safety‑critical features for aviation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build and maintain reliable, high‑performance mobile applications.
• Integrate internal and external APIs to enable real‑time data and functionality.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to create intuitive, user‑friendly experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience developing iOS applications (or equivalent through internships, projects, or coursework).
• Proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI; exposure to UIKit and common iOS frameworks.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts such as async/await, multithreading, or GCD.
• Basic experience with networking, APIs, and real‑world data sources.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn from feedback.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
