Investor Relations Associate

About the role

Our client, a leading alternative investment manager, is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to support fundraising initiatives, strengthen investor relationships, and deliver an exceptional experience to institutional clients. The role offers broad exposure to capital formation, investor communications, and strategic business initiatives while working closely with senior leadership and investment professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with institutional investors, family offices, consultants and strategic partners through proactive communication and client service.
• Serve as primary point of contact for existing investors, handling inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate investor meetings, annual meetings, due‑diligence sessions and portfolio update discussions.
• Support senior leadership in fundraising initiatives, including prospect management, investor due‑diligence and closing processes.
• Prepare marketing materials, investor presentations and fundraising collateral.
• Collaborate with placement agents and external partners during fundraising campaigns.
• Prepare quarterly investor letters, fund reports, presentations and other investor‑facing materials.
• Maintain consistent messaging by partnering with investment, finance, legal, compliance and marketing teams.
• Assist with due‑diligence questionnaires, RFPs and ad‑hoc investor requests.
• Gather investor feedback and market intelligence to inform fundraising strategy.
• Maintain CRM systems and investor databases, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in investor relations, finance or related fields.
• Strong foundation in financial markets and alternative investments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and nurture long‑term relationships with institutional investors.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering a best‑in‑class client experience.
