About the role
The Investigations & Differential Response Practice Coach provides coaching and professional development to newly hired Social Services Specialists and Supervisors within the Division of Children and Family Services. Based in Fayetteville, the coach ensures alignment with agency policies, internal procedures, and the division’s practice model.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted coaching to staff assigned to Investigations or Differential Response units.
- Coordinate statewide training sessions in partnership with the Investigations Coaching Coordinator, MidSOUTH training staff, and university partners.
- Facilitate the implementation of the Investigations Practice Coach Guidebook.
- Collaborate with DCFS leadership, university partners, and other stakeholders to maintain consistent practice standards.
- Monitor coaching outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Experience working in child welfare, social services, or related investigative settings.
- Strong understanding of DCFS policies, procedures, and practice models.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for adult learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple agencies and academic partners.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Division of Children and Family Services policies and internal procedures.
- Experience designing and delivering professional development or coaching programs.
