Inventory Support Technician (2nd Shift)

About the role

Thorne's warehouse team is central to its operations, and this posting is for an Inventory Support Technician on 2nd shift (3:00pm to 11:30pm) with overtime as required. The role covers picking orders, building and shrink-wrapping pallets, restocking the distribution centre and inventory counts, in a clean, safe and innovative warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the Distribution Department's SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and stay updated on changes to them.
• Pick a wide variety of orders accurately and quickly, following company procedures.
• Build and shrink-wrap pallets for distribution, and pull product for restocking the distribution centre, checking lot numbers.
• Empty carts, pallets and packing orders efficiently and maintain order integrity.
• Complete paperwork accurately and pay attention to detail.
• Work overtime as required and follow the employee handbook and standards of conduct.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work an entire 8-, 10- or 12-hour shift, including overtime, while standing and lifting items up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to safely handle ingredients and products that may come from allergenic sources such as nuts, soy, dairy, fish and shellfish.
• Physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders and work in a moderate noise level.
