Inventory Control Floor Lead – Columbus 1st Shift (Contract)

About the role

The Inventory Control Floor Lead supports the Global Distribution team at lululemon by ensuring accurate inventory data and smooth warehouse operations on the first shift. This contract position combines hands‑on problem solving, real‑time auditing, and team coaching to maintain SOX compliance and meet delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve inventory inaccuracies in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform real‑time audits of on‑hand inventory as part of the SOX program.
• Communicate findings and results across distribution center departments.
• Provide on‑the‑spot coaching, feedback, and training to Inventory Control Associates.
• Deliver functional training to new hires and level‑set training for existing staff.
• Support daily workforce planning, open/close tasks, and performance tracking.
• Resolve daily issues using Outlook, Excel, IBM, WMS, and Oracle tools.
• Identify bottlenecks, prioritize workflow, and raise staffing needs as required.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and give individualized feedback.
• Strong communication skills across multiple departments.
• Capability to manage daily workforce planning and task prioritization.
• Aptitude for problem‑solving inter‑departmental operational issues.
