Interventional Pain Management Physician

About the role

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a full‑time, board‑certified or board‑eligible physician specialized in interventional pain management. The physician will provide comprehensive pain care in both outpatient and peri‑operative settings, participating in a shared monthly outpatient call rotation with no inpatient or hospital consult duties.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional pain procedures, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and other minimally invasive techniques.
• Provide comprehensive pain management for out‑patient and peri‑operative patients.
• Participate in the monthly outpatient call rotation and collaborate with the referral network.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Interventional Pain Management, fellowship trained.
• Strong interest in chronic pain management and ability to develop relationships within an expanding referral network.
• Commitment to using comprehensive electronic medical records (EPIC).
