Internal Auditor

About the role

Sika is seeking an Internal Auditor with manufacturing audit experience to support the Americas region. The role involves planning and executing financial and operational audits in line with the Annual Internal Audit Plan and the company’s methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and support processes and assess risks and controls for assigned entities.
• Prepare audit work programs, conduct fieldwork, perform interviews, walk‑throughs and sample testing.
• Execute approximately 10 field audits per year and contribute to group‑level system audits as needed.
• Review auditee action plans, document findings, and communicate results to local management.
• Act as Lead Auditor on a rotational basis and support the Internal Audit Quality Assurance Program.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or willingness to obtain certification.
• 2‑3 years of internal audit experience in a manufacturing environment, covering both financial and operational audits.
• Strong understanding of internal control concepts and models.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel up to 50‑70% across the US, Canada, Latin America and occasionally globally.
