Intermediate Architect – Residential Design

About the role

FAME Architecture & Interior Design is seeking an Intermediate Architect to join its Los Angeles studio. You will work on custom modern single‑family residences, guiding projects from schematic design through construction documents and administration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and schematic plans for residential projects.
• Produce detailed construction documents, ensuring code compliance and permitting readiness.
• Coordinate structural, mechanical, and interior design elements.
• Manage design development, construction administration, and on‑site observations.
• Collaborate with senior architects, consultants, and contractors to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of professional experience in custom modern single‑family residential architecture.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, permitting, code compliance, and construction administration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative studio environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Experience with Enscape rendering.
• Competence in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with Archicad (bonus, not required).
