Intake Specialist

About the role

The Intake Specialist supports community members in accessing International Rescue Committee (IRC) services. You will conduct eligibility screenings, provide up‑to‑date program information, and connect eligible individuals with appropriate IRC resources or external providers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑person and virtual outreach to communities and partner organizations to raise awareness of IRC programs.
• Maintain current knowledge of eligibility criteria for all IRC services.
• Perform eligibility screenings for walk‑in clients, including parolees and Special Immigrant Visa holders.
• Refer eligible clients to IRC services and external service providers.
• Document screening outcomes and referral actions accurately.

Required profile

• Experience conducting eligibility screenings for diverse client populations.
• Familiarity with IRC program offerings and eligibility standards.
• Ability to engage with community members and partner organizations effectively.
