About the role

The Insurance Verification Specialist II supports UAMS Health in Benton/Bryant by confirming patient insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations. This position is part of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and works within a collaborative health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage details.
  • Obtain prior‑authorization approvals when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of insurance verification activities.
  • Communicate verification results to clinical staff and patients.

Required profile

  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
