Insurance Sales Representative

About the role

The Casey Clayborn Farmers Insurance Agency in Fort Worth, TX is hiring full-time Insurance Sales Representatives to join its growing team. The agency provides auto, home, business and life insurance to protect clients and their assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations and close sales
• Communicate with hot leads and establish client relationships, following up as needed
• Understand prospect needs and identify sales opportunities
• Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers
• Explain and demonstrate the benefits of the services offered
• Stay informed about competing products and services
• Cold call and perform other lead generation activities

Required profile

• Active Texas Property & Casualty license; an active Texas Life and Health license is preferred, or willingness to obtain it
• Insurance experience is required; sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behaviour
• Willingness to learn, coachable, confident and able to work independently
• Upbeat, positive attitude and excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
