About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is offering an Insurance Intern position in Fargo, ND. The internship is a comprehensive program giving real-world business, risk management and insurance experience, with project work and client interaction. It focuses on the tools needed to build a foundation for a Client Management or Sales career pathway.

What you will do

• Receive real industry training and relevant work experience, with no administrative tasks such as fetching coffee.
• Apply classroom concepts through projects and client interaction.
• Work directly with multiple teams, learning the basics of the insurance programs while supporting actual clients.
• Take part in a series of national webinars that introduce the industry and the organization.
• Build your network by working closely with your manager, mentor and other interns.
• Meet a wide variety of industry partners to cultivate industry relationships.

Required profile

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 minimum.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A plus: two semesters of college coursework in a business area.
• A plus: coursework in insurance, risk management or finance.
