Regulatory Reporting Lead Analyst - C13

About the role

This is an intermediate-level position within the Controllers Organization, reporting through the Global Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. It supports the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to local regulators, the U.S. Federal Reserve, the OCC and others, based on U.S. and local regulatory rules and instructions. The role has high visibility and works closely with Finance and non-Finance functions across Citi, including the businesses, Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Enterprise Technology and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to the U.S., where applicable.
• Monitor and manage key metrics of reports to identify challenges and issues.
• Help implement processes and controls to reduce the risk of inaccurate reporting, and collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Drive process improvements to improve accuracy, efficiency and transparency of regulatory reporting.
• Support the team during regulatory inquiries and examinations with accurate information and analysis.
• Partner with senior stakeholders such as Risk, Finance and Audit on regulatory developments and impact assessments.
• Work with peers and program leaders on implementing U.S. and local regulatory changes in the reporting framework.
• Partner with Risk & Controls to maintain and strengthen the internal controls structure, and escalate control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 6-10+ years of experience in the financial services industry and regulatory reporting.
• Bachelor's or university degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Able to navigate a large organization, streamline information and create repeatable processes.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, strong technical problem-solving and ability to manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Intermediate knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports, Basel III capital regulations, GAAP/SEC reporting and stress testing frameworks such as CCAR.
• Internal controls, regulatory management and regulatory reporting.
