Insurance Client Service Specialist

About the role

McGriff, a division of Marsh McLennan Agency, is hiring an Insurance Client Service Specialist in Birmingham. You will support the service and production team in reaching agency revenue and retention goals by handling new and renewal business and keeping client information up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Process new and renewal business
• Update and maintain information in the client management system
• Address and resolve client questions and issues, and escalate complex ones
• Help prepare new and renewal proposals and other presentations
• Maintain daily client processing functions such as endorsements, policies, audits, pending cancellations and ID cards

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and project skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsiveness, urgency and professionalism, prioritizing critical tasks and responding quickly to client requests
• Accountability for the quality of work

The following are a plus but not required: insurance license, five years of industry-specific experience, LOB designations, college or advanced degree.
