Insurance Associate

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring an Insurance Associate in Los Angeles to support its Client Advisory teams. The role prepares for prospect and client meetings, supports client reviews and helps with the new business process, working alongside a Client Advisor Manager or Client Advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Order summaries ahead of review dates and help prepare stewardship reviews
• Update summaries, create spreadsheets and documents, bind materials, obtain quotes and remarketer when applicable
• Set up Applied files, binders, identification cards, cancellation forms and coordinate delivery of new business policies
• Quote coverage via carrier websites, find carrier-specific information and obtain policy declarations
• Schedule client, carrier and guest visits, manage security clearances, reserve meeting spaces and greet guests
• Process endorsements, handle mortgage/lienholder inquiries, respond to client identification requests and address billing inquiries

Required profile

• Appropriate P&C license, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate multiple systems without assistance
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, detail-oriented, disciplined and self-motivated
• Plus: college degree or prior insurance experience, experience serving high net worth clients, and proficiency using carrier websites for quoting and declarations

• Base salary of $39,200 to $72,900, with possible performance-based incentives
