About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking an Instrument Technician to join the UAMS Health team at its Benton/Bryant location. This regular, full‑time position supports the delivery of high‑quality patient care by ensuring that medical equipment operates safely and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical instruments.
• Document service activities and maintain equipment records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Support the clinical staff by ensuring instruments are ready for patient use.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employees, student employees, or graduate assistants may apply.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
