Instructor – Otolaryngology

About the role

The University of Miami seeks a full‑time Instructor in Otolaryngology to join its academic and clinical team. The role combines patient care, surgical training, and educational responsibilities within the Facial Plastics, Rhinology, and Neurotology programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peri‑operative patient care on both supervised and independent bases.
• Assist with emergency coverage for otolaryngology patients as needed.
• Teach and mentor house officers, medical students, and paramedical personnel.
• Deliver formal didactic presentations, including core curriculum sessions, grand rounds, and teaching conferences.
• Complete a research project suitable for publication and fulfill all additional program requirements.

Required profile

• Current staff, faculty, or temporary employee eligible for internal application process.
• Commitment to full‑time faculty responsibilities and academic excellence.
