About the role
Tarleton State University seeks an Instructor & Director of Field Education for its Department of Social Work and Public Health. This 12‑month, non‑tenure‑track faculty position will support undergraduate and graduate students through coordinated field placement experiences across multiple campuses.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate undergraduate and graduate field placements for the Department of Social Work and Public Health.
- Manage program sites across Tarleton State campuses, including Stephenville, Fort Worth, and Waco.
- Coordinate with community agencies to secure placement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and university policies.
Required profile
- Experience in planning and overseeing field education placements for social work or public health programs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and external agencies.
- Strong organizational and evaluation skills.
