About the role
Under general supervision, the Instruction Paraprofessional 2 assists the instructor/teacher in delivering education and training to students at the Bob Richards RYDC facility in Rome, GA.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in presenting subject matter and maintaining an effective learning environment.
- Prepare instructional materials, bulletin boards, displays, and equipment.
- Sanitize toys and play equipment and manage classroom supplies.
- Document student progress, keep daily observation records, and evaluate individual children.
- Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Required profile
- High School diploma/GED.
- At least one year of experience in an instructional or childcare setting, or equivalent experience at the Instruction Paraprofessional 1 level.
