Institutional Services Assistant

About the role

The Institutional Services Assistant supports the OPS | NUTRI Production Team by maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment. This entry‑level position involves dishwashing, trash removal, and general housekeeping tasks in a fast‑paced medical campus setting.

Key responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or manually, then store them in designated areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, floors, equipment, and utensils, ensuring cleanliness at all times.
• Use, store, and manage chemical and cleaning supplies according to safety guidelines.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas and line garbage containers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to exert up to 50 lb occasionally and up to 20 lb frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
