Inside Sales Representative – AI Startup

About the role

COVU, a venture‑backed AI startup, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join its go‑to‑market team in Los Angeles. You will be the first point of contact with agency founders, operators, and strategic partners, helping to introduce the company’s AI‑powered back‑office platform for financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Represent COVU in first‑touch conversations with partners and founders.
• Lead personalized outreach via calls, email, social media, and live events.
• Participate in discovery calls and shape the narrative of the AI platform.
• Use modern sales tools such as HubSpot and Apollo to track activity and optimize outreach.
• Build a presence in Los Angeles’ startup and insurance ecosystems.
• Collaborate with a high‑performance team focused on long‑term strategic growth.

Required profile

• Charismatic, polished, and confident in both virtual and in‑person interactions.
• Background in a client‑facing field (sales, hospitality, real estate, acting, PR, etc.).
• High energy, self‑motivated, and goal‑oriented.
• Coachable and eager to learn quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
• Based in Los Angeles or willing to work hybrid in LA.
• Bonus: interest or experience in AI, fintech, or the future of work.
