Initial Evaluation Clinical Exercise Physiologist

About the role

Carda Health is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to deliver high‑quality virtual cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. You will be the first face‑to‑face contact for patients joining the program and play a key role in ongoing clinical studies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct health histories, evaluate patient records, and suggest appropriate care paths.
• Provide lifestyle recommendations, input notes into the EMR, and coordinate with the broader care team.
• Guide patients through digital health tools, troubleshoot wearables and tablets, and collaborate with founders and the technology team to improve the virtual care model.
• Support patients throughout their rehabilitation, encouraging accountability and engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology (Master’s preferred) and ACSM certification (preferred).
• At least 1 + year of experience as an Exercise Physiologist in cardiac and/or pulmonary rehab.
• Strong anatomy and physiology knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast‑growth startup.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality patient care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with technology platforms, EMR systems, and troubleshooting digital health devices.
• Experience with medication reconciliation for cardiac and pulmonary patients.
