Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) – Baton Rouge

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team in Baton Rouge. As an RN Infusion, you will lead patient care using the nursing process, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards, and Ochsner’s commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process, ensuring quality outcomes.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary staff, managing resources effectively.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote cultural sensitivity and achieve unit and departmental goals.
• Utilize data and evidence‑based practice to drive improvements in patient care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and judgment skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
