Information & Application Developer (Entry Level)

About the role

Boeing's South Carolina Engineering Design Center is looking for an entry‑level Information & Application Developer to support and enhance internal web applications and data tools. You will work closely with end users, gather requirements, and help build reliable, secure solutions while gaining exposure to Boeing's software engineering practices and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate end‑user requirements to improve existing applications.
• Analyze data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, to support decision‑making.
• Write and maintain code that automates data access, processing, and analysis.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for data visualization.
• Design, program, test, and maintain computing applications under guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic programming or application issues.
• Apply Boeing ESATS and Application Manager compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to review system performance and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience or relevant coursework in web application development or data analysis.
• Understanding of relational databases and basic web technologies.
• Desire to work within the BSC engineering community.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics is preferred.
