Industry Specialist – Engineering OEM/Aerospace

About the role

The Engineering Industry Specialist will focus on the aerospace and automotive engineering vertical, helping clients solve complex engineering challenges through Kelly’s suite of outcome‑based solutions and traditional staffing services.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the statementworX suite of SOW solutions, as well as contract, temp‑to‑hire and direct‑hire services.
• Initiate and lead meetings with engineering leaders to understand growth plans and align Kelly’s offerings.
• Leverage research, data and industry insights to create value for engineering functions and position Kelly as a trusted partner.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with executives, directors and managers.
• Collaborate with specialized engineering recruiters to deliver comprehensive workforce solutions.
• Maintain high standards of activity, teamwork and results delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (not mandatory).
• Minimum 2 + years of proven B2B sales experience in engineering services, preferably within aerospace or automotive.
• Consultative, solutions‑oriented approach with strategic sales capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Passion for solving challenging engineering problems and connecting talent with meaningful careers.
