Industrial Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Industrial Manufacturing Engineer will design, improve, and integrate manufacturing systems for a new high‑volume aerospace battery program. The role spans prototype production through full‑scale manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.

Key responsibilities

• Create a complete aerospace battery production line from concept to operation.
• Study, analyze, and design procedures, layouts, fixtures, and tooling to boost process efficiency and product quality.
• Lead source selection and procurement of production equipment.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing, equipment, and safety issues.
• Recommend cost‑reduction initiatives and process improvements.
• Participate in customer‑facing meetings to provide engineering updates and manage expectations.
• Coordinate with quality, production, engineering, and facilities teams to ensure manufacturability and smooth integration.
• Develop, monitor, and report project schedules; establish Standard Operating Procedures for new and updated equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience creating entire manufacturing lines, preferably in aerospace, batteries, or high‑reliability industries.
• Proven ability to define layouts, workflows, tooling, fixtures, and process architecture.
• Strong capability to study, analyze, and design manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
• Experience leading equipment source selection, evaluation, and procurement.
• Demonstrated success collaborating with quality, production, engineering, and facilities teams.
• Ability to participate in technical customer discussions and manage expectations.
• Experience coordinating process capability, capacity planning, and integration timelines.

Required skills

• CAD (CATIA) – preferred for design work.
