Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing

About the role

As an Industrial Engineer at BETA Technologies, you will optimize manufacturing processes for electric aircraft, driving efficiency, waste reduction, and high quality while supporting sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing workflows, conduct time‑and‑motion studies, and implement lean principles to boost productivity.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and data‑driven models for strategic planning.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and quality teams to refine production methods and ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years of industrial engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or electric‑vehicle sectors.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Data analysis and statistical tools for process improvement.
