Industrial Engineer

About the role

CooperVision’s Continuous Improvement team is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead high‑impact initiatives across its distribution operations. The role focuses on reducing costs, improving quality, increasing capacity and enhancing customer satisfaction through data‑driven analysis and industrial engineering methods.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize and execute opportunities to improve operational performance in distribution.
• Analyze current‑state processes, eliminate waste and increase efficiency using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Develop and implement sustainable solutions, document standard work and ensure repeatability.
• Build business cases, track financial impact and validate cost‑reduction results.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from concept through implementation, aligning with business priorities.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Safety, Quality, Engineering, IT and Global Operational Excellence teams.
• Engage vendors and external partners to support process, equipment and technology initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial engineering or continuous improvement within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
• Effective project‑management skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
